Thank you for the excellent preparation and execution of your 2013 Ama Dablam expedition – covering everything from the quality mountain menu and supplies to the minutiae of the daily logistics which allowed me to summit and get back safely.

From arriving at Kathmandu airport until my departure, I was able to relax in the confidence that the necessary arrangements were in place. I had been concerned to join the expedition without knowing any of the others beforehand, but had a great time, which I believe would not have been possible to the same extent without your attention to detail and meticulous efforts throughout to ensure that we all came together as a cohesive team, and the expedition went like clock-work.

Your personalised service and flexibility for individual itineraries and requirements without compromising others was much more than I expected from dealing with other Operators, and it is clear that you have teamed up with quality in-country resources to ensure the ground-support to match and facilitate our needs, including friendly and highly experienced Sherpa guides and base-camp staff.

So there you have it. No matter what other brochures may say you don’t necessarily know who the leader is going to be for your trip. All the great comments could be about a previous leader and you find that you are on a trip with a complete novice to the mountain. That’s not to say that they won’t run a great trip – but at least with me what you see is what you get.

The choice is yours but all these people (and others) can’t be wrong can they?
